i just want to say thank you for doing this and i hope everything turns out ok. the ending to VOD messed me up and i hope, no pray their can be a happy ending.
while i respect the original creator, it kinda frustrated me on how he was adamant on having a soul crushing ending. even making extra episodes whitch just seem to me like he was just rubbing it in....
sorry about the rant... i hope this gets made and i'll be rooting for you!
on last thing, i just need to know. is the character we're playing as the one from the original game? and if that's the case.... will... will the rwby cast remember us?

Just stopped by to see if their was any updates or sequels to RWBY Vale of Darkness which covered season 1 & 2 and saw this.

RWBY: Vale Of Darkness Vol. III is the continuation of RWBY: Vale Of Darkness, starting from Volume 3. You will play as your own character in the storyline of RWBY volume 3 (and on). The story is tweaked to accommodate this new character, but is mostly unchanged.
This sequel is being made with the permission of the original developer, Hobozone.
Currently, the game is in too early of a stage to have any playable demo, however, progress updates will be made occasionally (depending on how much progress is made). There are also many things about the game that are undecided, so I will be asking for a lot of opinions and making polls as needed.

Main Story for Volume 3 and 4 (At least)
Character Events
Expanded Overworld
Day by Day System
ATB Battle System
Bystanders with dialogue
Original music tracks produced specifically for this game! (How many are made will depend)

Just a purely personal note here, I'm outright excited to be making this game, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that it's the very best it can be. I have to give a fair warning, though, this game will contain a lot more frequently-placed humor than the previous one, as I like to add jokes and references to item descriptions and such. Also, expect some of these jokes to be somewhat mature in nature. Whether or not this game will need a mature rating... we'll see. I'll try and avoid it, but it's possible that it may need one. I will eventually be asking for playtesters and maybe even translators, but for right now, I just need to build the foundation of the game and go from there. I can't explain how anxious I am to make this game. LET'S DO THIS!
