1.1 Update: New levels, new obstacles, new music, new colours

I really appreciate all of the support and feedback ‘Chase’ has been receiving. Seeing people play it on YouTube is hilarious, and seeing ‘Chase’ get featured on the GameJolt front page was incredible.

I’ve taken your feedback from the past 5 days, and produced a new version - version 1.1. You mainly wanted more variety, with the colours, obstacles and the music. Some people found the game too easy, too.

This version features:

  • 2 new levels (both harder than the original game, each level has a separate highscore table)

  • 2 new songs, 1 for each new levels

  • New challenging and varied obstacles (some move!)

  • New colours - each new level has unique colours

And removes the following bugs:

  • Keeping a multiplier after you die, or collecting one while the game is ‘rewinding’

  • The sometimes impossible starting obstacle if you die early on multiple times (where two obstacles spawn inside of each other, occasionally blocking the way completely)

To make sure the original highscores are still fair and genuine, the original level (now called ‘Easy’) has not been changed at all, with the exception of the bug fixes mentioned above.

Thanks for your feedback over the past 5 days! I will continue to update this game based on your feedback to make it as good as I can! Also, to those of you who have made YouTube videos on my game, I really appreciate those! I’ve seen about 13 pop up so far, and all of them have been hilarious and so fun to watch.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.
