1.2 PROGRESS REPORT:

The new route is complete. There's still more I want to do, but I'm in the homestretch.

No concrete release date yet, but I'll probably be out sometime before May 10th.

Emphasis on probably. Releasing before then isn't guaranteed.

I'm going to try and finish up the party member concepts I've mentioned in the announcement of the update and in the previous progress report, but the main reason I'm not giving a release date is just because I want to do another test run.

Not only would it be needed for the unfinished party members if I do complete them (and I can better balance the new ones that are already in the mod), I also made an expression library for Berny in the process of working on the new route and wanted to implement those across the game.

If development stalls to a complete halt for over two weeks, assuming I'm not in the process of doing a test run, then I'm releasing the update. There's no reason for me to delay this if I'm not doing anything with it.

Arbor Day

I have no idea why it took me this long to do that first thing.

There's a new Wes Anderson movie coming out within the next two months, so I've got something to look forwards to for the immediate future.

Or at least a closer future than some of the other stuff I'm looking forwards to, anyways.

No idea why I feel like updating this so much lately, but here's some stuff.

1.2 PROGRESS REPORT:

Things are going well, but there's still quite a lot left to do. I'm going finish a truncated version of the update first, and after that I'll start prioritizing working on the update's new route.

(More details in the article)

Crimbo.

Not a super intense update, but it restores functionality to an element of the Gluttinator/Weez fight that got lost due to the larger party member count.

Here's a vaguely defined list of all the games I played in 2025.

I'd also like to mention Fool Time, the recent Jon Bois miniseries about the telegraph, as an honorary "Highlight of the Year."

It's an honorary mention since Fool Time isn't a video game.

I played some video games this year. Here's a list of them.

Feel free to check a look if you want. Or don't.

Technically this update actually came out about half an hour ago, I just wanted to add in a little something before announcing it.
