A Future in the Fanverse?


Hi guys,

Firstly, another minor patch will be out later today I think. It'll include things like being able to see what Day you're currently playing, an update to the credits to include the game's logo (so it actually appears somewhere in the game), and also (unfinished) controller support.

Secondly, the future is looking bright for myPOPGOES in the realm of the Fanverse. I revealed the game to Scott, showed some things off, and he said he "LOVES" the look of the game and that he was a huge fan of old LCD games when he was younger. He wants to see more.

Rejoice! It seems all but confirmed that myPOPGOES will be expanded on and receive the Fanverse treatment. Who knows what that may involve. Steam release with achievements and trading cards? Mobile ports? Merch? Maybe even a Spanish translation, since our programmer is Mexican! I will keep you all updated.

I'm so grateful for your support and your feedback. If you have any ideas for expanding on the game (unlockables, challenges, fitting lore reveals) then please share them.

We will continue polishing up this free version of myPOPGOES and then begin properly planning the "premium" version with new content, if I get it all signed off with Scott. We won't spend TOO much extra time on the game, as we of course have Evergreen to work on as well. But we'll definitely make it worth the price (literally something like $1 lmao).

Before you, the new banner and thumbnail for Sweet Harmony's Gamejolt page! It was a hard work to make it, mostly on the banner, I wanted to make something amazing and stand out.

For those of you who keep asking if there will ever be Jazwares products for the POPGOES series, my answer has upgraded from "I have no idea" to "Maybe, actually!"
