gameboy cooks dino nuggies 5: the rpg!!1 has been in development for a month now (already) and project labyrinth has been on hold for a month now
its about 50% done, the battle and map engines are done, i just have to map out more locations and hardcode more enemy attacks (its not complete spaghetti code dw), yk typical rpg bullshittery
the game is a bit longer than anticipated but thats why we got save states, dont wanna spoil it too much winka winka
its gonna be uploaded to scratch, so its pure vanilla turbowarp im developing this bitch in, no extensions, no squat, no fun, so i gotta keep a eye on optimization and junk, but it runs completely fine
as for the other elephant in the room (project labyrinth), im still stumped on it and the challenge faced with the game is too great for me and scratch's limitations in general, i dont want another duk battlegrounds but also dont want to can the game since i already have so much done for it and have showed off much, im still skeptical of it
im sure ive pissed off enough people when it comes to canning projects (too many to count)
if i learn another engine (haha imagine) project labyrinth development might move there (and i'd have to learn the engine first of course), but maybe my laptop is just complete dogshit and turbowarp is fine
im estimating end of january or mid feburary finish and release for gcdn 5 but please remember that i never keep promises and overshoot things constantly and i am lazy as fuck and its only halfway done and this and that
