A mock-up of what I think Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 would've looked like if it was ported to the Game Boy.

In 1996, developer "Software Creations" was contracted to port Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 to the Game Boy. They programmed an expanded version of MK3 GB's engine, hoping it would improve how Mortal Kombat 3 played on Nintendo's 4-shaded dot matrix handheld. Halfway through development, the project was going through development issues due to Acclaim losing the MK license. The port was then going to be published by Williams Entertainment, the parent company of Midway, but it was eventually cancelled and the only mention of it is in a German video game magazine which featured the only screenshot that ever proved this version's existence.
