Also, English is NOT my first language, so I'm sorry if there will be lots of bad grammar.

Along with that, the story contains lots of gore, blood, & etc. If you don't like such stuff—you better don't read it.

My name is Jake Smith. Um....i don't sure if I should post it, & guess no one will belive me, but.....i think I NEED to tell that story. To this day, it's still haunts me, I remember it like it was yesterday. I keep seeing nightmares, & sometimes i even seeing.....HIM in the dark. Anyway, I hope at least someone will listen me....

So, if you didn't heard about it before, somewhere in Bay Lake, Florida, once was a small sub-tropical island, which was then sold to Walt Disney himself in 1965, leading to foundation & opening of half-zoologic, pirate-themed amusement park & resort, known as "Treasure Island", back in April 8th, 1974, which was later renamed to "Discovery Island" in 1978, & then was closed & abandoned for unknown reasons, on April 8th, 1999. Well, you see......I was used work here, along with my dear friend, Markus. He was one of the cartoonists in the park's filming location, while I was the security guard of the basement storage unit under "Mowgli's Palace"—one of the park's main attractions/exhibits. And ya know what? I KNOW the actual truth behind the park's closure. But to be honest.....I dare you, would do EVERYTHING to just forget this.....

So, one day, on June 27th, Markus came to his workplace.....pretty sad. He said that his girlfriend Amanda was cheating on him with some jerk who doesn't even loved her. I tried to cheer him, but he was too much upset. He also said that vets found a cancer in his dog few days ago, & he is scared that his lovely puppy wouldn't live very long & happilu. A week later, after he broke up with Amanda, & his dog died, he said that her new boyfriend ended up being very abusive—he yelled at her, beated her, & one day she just......hanged herself. The worst part is that when she felt remorse for cheating, & wanted to came back to Markus, but he was so mad that he just yelled at her too, & said that he don't want to see her ever again, & when she commited suicide, the day right after their conversation, he just felt himself......like even MORE garbage then her new "boyfriend". Deeply inside of his heart, he still had strong feelings for her, but when he could just save her, prove how much he loved her......he just made it even worse.....he ended up being "as horrible as the one she asked being saved from".

Since that day, he started drastically changing. He started drink lots of alcohol, doing drugs, & at some point, he just gone.....to nowhere. But on April 7th, 1999, when he finally came to work.....he was suspiciously. calm. He was smiling, happily greeting everyone, but.....his smile looked so.....unnatural......so fake. It looked like he is just on his way to get a nervous breakdown, & gonna cry at any moment.

— Heya, Marky! — I asked him — Erm.....how are you, bro? Where have you been for so long? We were worried about you!"

— I'm Fine! I'm totally....fine! YEAH!......heh

Then, he just went to his workplace, leaving me with my questions unanswered. I decided that......maybe everything is really fine with him? Heh.....gosh, why I always was so stupid?

Also, ya know.....I didn't told you yet, but I was pretty lazy, actually. Instead of doing my job, sometimes I could just fall asleep, if I will be to bored, & this day wasn't exclusion. But I guess this day i was sleeping.....a little too much, then usual. I had a strange feeling that something was.....odd, when i woke up. I checked the cameras, & then I noticed that someone dropped a spare Goofy's head on the floor, leaving it near the Mascot Prep. room's door. But when I looked closer to the door itself, i noticed.....something red, leaking from the floor. When i decided to check the camera in the room itself.....it was just broken, so I needed to check it by myself...... & this was my WORST mistake I have ever done.

I opened the door......& I was......MORE than terryfied. It was.......it was someone.......someone sitting on the floor, in puddle of blood, wearing a Mickey Mouse costume. But costume had a knife in one hand, & a huge bleeding wound in its stomach. I think the person inside just stabbed themselves. I also saw a lots of candles, & like......5 other corpses around this person, all stuffed in the damaged costumes of Disney characters, with various injures. Two of them had no arms, with one of them having head turned backward, while the other one had no legs, no eyes, & broken jaw, & yet another one was literally decapitated. I.....I just started to slowly lose my mind, I couldn't get if this is still a dream, or is it real.

I decided that it will be better if I will just throw a Goofy's head in the room, & just go away, but.......right after I was about to leave, I heard a creepy voice, sounding so.....familiar, but yet alien. I turned around, & saw how the Mickey Mouse costume was just....standing up, like the person inside was totally fine:

— JAKE! — Mickey, with 2 human eyes, starring out of his sockets, said to me — I glad that you came to visit me now, old friend. Thanks for everything you've done to me, you're forever my best pal!

Then, he just snapped his own neck, to the point he literally just ripped his head off, with his blood splattering all around. He just fell on the floor, pressumably dead. I was so horryfied that I just ran away from that cursed place. I called 911, & said that there's dead people here. The cops arrived, & started to ask me what happened, but I said I was asleep, & don't know myself. However, when we checked the camera recordings, we found out the truth. That Mickey......was actually......MARKUS?! For whatever reason he done it, he killed all of those people, using this suit as the disguise. We don't sure why he done it, but possibly, he tried to "perform some satanic ritual", or something like that. It could explain those candles around the room. But the worst part was that when cops asked me if I recognize some of these victims.....I told them I do. I knew those people! They were......Michelle,.......Frank,......Oliver,.....Sarah,.......& Garret. They were the employees too, & also my & Markus' clse friends. I.....I just couldn't believe that someone such nice like.....my dedicated buddy......could do that to such innocent people, & ESPECIALLY...........to our friends.

But that wasn't an end of my story. 3 years after Treasure Island was forever closed & abandoned, in 2002, I decided to revisit it. I don't even remember for what reason, but.....anyway. So, when I arrived to the ruins of "Mowgli's Palace", I decided to come to that very basement storage I was used to work at. I found that very room, & i even found the same Goofy's head, which for some reason now was just laying in the hallway....again. I entered Mascot Prep., &.....almost everything was alright—no more candles, no more corpses....nothing. But what I didn't noticed at first, was a yet another, strange Mickey Mouse costume, sitting similary to how Mark did.....but now, the suit was......inverted, like a photo-negative image. Also, there was a strange Donald Duck's head, in the corner of the room. I decided to check it, but......when picked it up, I found a......... rotten human skull, inside of it. I decided it will be better if I just put back the Donald mask on it. Then I heard.......THE EXACT SAME VOICE I heard from Markus then:

-HEY!

I turned back, & saw how that Photo-Negative Mickey costume was standing up.....just like the Markus did then. He came closer to me, & asked.....the same.....THE SAME EXACT QUESTION, as Markus asked me 3 years ago:

Hey! WANNA SEE MY HEAD COME OFF?

He then literally just started to snapping his neck, & ripping his head, in the same way as Markus done, but more slowly. I could hear the distorted sound of him cracking his vertebrae, I could see......a yellow.....yellow chunky blood, more looking like vomit or something, leaking from between his head & shoulders, before he just finally torn off his head, dropped it on the floor.....& fell on the back, right near it. Is......is that was Markus? Anyway, before I could answer any of my questions, I heard a very loud, earrape sound behind me, which was similar to distorted....quacking? I turned back, & the Donald's head I checked before.......became ALIVE!? It had a hollow black eyes, & widely opened mouth, with the skull being seen through them. I didn't knew what to do with that thing, so......i just punch it in the face, & surprisingly enough, it stopped—eyes became normal, mouth was shuted, & quacking sound was gone.

I decided that i don't wanna stay here anymore, so I just closed the door, & ran away as fast as I could. I then came back home, &....everything was fine.......or at least.....i thought. I don't know why, but.....every time I remind myself about that day in 1999, I just feels so......sick. I just start to have a headache, & some strange feeling.....that I'm not alone in my room. Even right now, when i writting this, I feel like I still see someone in the dark corners......someone with big ears, yellow shoes, red shorts.....and those human-like eyeballs, starring in my soul. Who knows, maybe i'm just paranoic or shizophrenic, but.....i don't know. But at the same time.....deeply in mind, I just wanna believe that those words Mark said to me before breaking his neck.......were really geniune. And ya know what, ol' friend? Despite everything you have done.....I still miss you. I hope one day, we will meet each other again. Don't know when.....don't know where.....but we'll definitly meet again.....some sunny day....
