Unfortunately recently, there's been several cases (I've pretty much just lost count at this point, probably over 12 times) where people attempt on applying to help with the project, claiming they are interested, and show they have the necessary skills that are needed for them to join, and then completely disappear without a word.
As well as leaving silently after a long period without ever contributing at all.

No updates, not even a word, just gone.

This project depends on reliable contribution, and ghosting wastes everyone's time and energy.

We don't expect members to work daily on this project, and we understand that they have time to deal with their own issues, and we have no problem with that, although this issue is far from this kind of thing.

If you're ever considering on applying, please be serious and responsible about your decision, think it through before reaching out, please.

Most of us are really exhausted.
