action sequences r hard to learn i'll reanimate everything later (in like five months)
whoever decided RPG maker should be the most finnicky engine of all time is my greatest enemy, animated sprites for enemies should be a default function of the engine
Next up
progress update
(it's going very well)
Finally implemented sideview battler sprites. I ended up using Yanfly's plugin as it was the only compatible one. This however the plugin was incompatible with the D-motion plugins. I guess I have to learn action sequencing and reanimate everything now.
After all the pain and anguish of setting this up it finally works! (except for the bug where if you push any buttons when 'traveling' you will break everything and probably crash the game)
I've been forgetting to post updates! I've not made much progress this month. Most of what i've done has been under the hood, like this shop system that updates it's stock as you increase your affinity with an area
happy pride month
added a status menu with pages you can scroll through. This lets you look at your unit's stats and for enemies it can show you more obfuscated details.
The main thing i've been working on is this world map. I only have this video but it teleporting the player to the wrong area has been fixed so it's now "usable" (still full of visual bugs though) (also damn the character limit on these is so small)
