Addendum:

I updated the game in an attempt to fix a crash that has recently been brought to my attention. I'm not sure if it will work since it's a fairly small change, and I pushed it out quickly, but if it doesn't work I'll keep trying to fix it.


I THINK the issue has ties to the options menu script, which is strange since I really haven't really touched the scripts all that much other than adding in health bars and timed attacks. I've definitely poked around some of the others a little bit, but I don't remember changing anything (though I'm a forgetful person truth be told, and accidents happen).

This also technically adds in all the progress I've made on the Johnny route since 1.1.1 released (which is pretty much just whatever writing was missing). I still need some new sprites before the routes "officially" get added into the game, but there's one or two things I want to do first that I've been procrastinating on, so I haven't asked for help yet.

By extension, other minor changes have been added in too, but the most noticeable one is that I renamed the shield slot to "Flourish," the same way as it is in Pointless, since there's really only one actual shield in the game (two if you count the welding mask), and I don't see that number increasing anytime soon. I'm not sure if it fits super well, but I feel it's more accurate as to how the slot is actually used.

Also haha I figured out how to add in articles. I don't know why it took me this long to do that, but I did!

I'm actually pretty proud of this one. A few of the ideas I've implemented for this (including this update's name!) have been my plans for months now. Glad to see it all come together.

No, I do not know why anyone would do that to themselves. My mods aren’t interesting enough for challenge runs.

Now the questionably enjoyable trial of will that is the Joyed Vega Ending is more consistently questionably enjoyable!

Also I changed my mind on how I wanted to handle Fatty's recruitment on the new route. It's the same method, but it's a bit easier now.

Watched The French Dispatch a few days ago.

Good movie! I liked it a lot!

Also, I made this abomination because of it.

I have spent the last few weeks wondering on and off if putting these two in a room together would be a character design faux-pas for a thing I haven't even started working on yet (and it's possible, though unlikely, I never will).

There's a new Wes Anderson movie coming out within the next two months, so I've got something to look forwards to for the immediate future.

Or at least a closer future than some of the other stuff I'm looking forwards to, anyways.

I was done MOST of this a while ago, but I've been focusing on another project for the most part so it took until now to actually finish (even if it's not that big of an update).
