A fast-paced action platformer with magic, bullets, and mystery.

Not everything made it in, but this is just the beginning.

🕒 Features and ideas left out (due to lack of time)

The ability to choose which protagonist to play as during specific parts of the story, taking control of their actions in those moments.

Story branching based on whether the player wins or loses key battles, affecting the narrative outcome.

Multiple routes and endings influenced by player choices — such as dialogue selections or certain in-game actions.

Several characters that were planned but didn’t make it into this version.

Additional mechanics and systems tied to those characters and story variations.

Other polish and narrative features that couldn’t be implemented within the 10-day solo development limit.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
