Game
Your Own Reality

After one month... It's time to explain everything and ask you something.

To bo honest, I got so far with this project... I thought that will be easier. As you know, game development consumes a lot of time. I started this project on holiday and I had a lot of free time. Now I don't have time because of school and responsibilities. Projects with photorealistic graphics, good mechanics, etc. are big projects. Usually, these projects are developed by a group of advanced people or firms. I started developing about 6 months ago. In the beginning, I thought no one would appreciate my work and I made it for fun. When it was coming bigger I was doing what I could to improve all the things. The end of the last month was really bad. I couldn't work for 2-3 weeks so the game was staying in place.

I would like to just tell and also ask my lovely community, what you want me to do... I can finish that project and improve it with friends who know something about development and design but you should remember one thing: I'm not advanced, I'm not working in a big firm and of course I'm not able to work the whole day. If you want me to finish it, okay I will do my best but that can be disappointing. I'm a bad storyteller/writer, this story is tbh bad but other things are good (if you want to help me with story writing, you can message me on gamejolt, discord or leave a comment below). I'm learning about animations, in-game I did a few animations. Maybe they aren't the best but I did what I could. I will try to improve this but that can take time.

In the end, I would like to tell you one more thing. In this one month, when I was offline, I made a lot of things like music, sounds, etc. I learned so much about video editing, graphics editing, logo making, and music production.

Thanks for all support, see y'all soon!

Hey, I made third room for my game. Here you'll have to find a key and video which will be played on the TV in the corner. No more spoilers! Watch streams on twitch to get private testing keys. See you soon and of course... Have a great day!

Hi, I've just finished making first short map. I added some post process and now it looks pretty good. All [WIP] things are in the previous post.

Hi, Today's dev-log will be short. I managed to add new main menu background. I added a map with camera, so now you can see live environment. I also added music to the menu. You can see background map on the photo. Have a nice day :)

Happy Devruary! Devruary Day 4 celebrates @ElPichon ! They're just a bird who likes to draw! They're also the developer behind The Bunny Graveyard II and Chunky JUMP!. We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt: How Did You Learn Game Dev?

This time Sad News...

I wanted to upload alpha version of the game but I got an error (image). Im going out of office for 2-3 days. If you have any idea how I can upload my game and where, tell me in the comments or in private message. Thanks

Edit:

This is a general #UnrealEngine tool, not specifically for the Mega Man project. It can copy the data from ANY Blueprint or C++ UPROPERTY variable, and copy it back to any compatible variable. Could lead to making Save States for Rollback Netcode.

I've just finished small map where you have to solve a riddle. It's pretty easy but I don't want to spoil anything. I'm posting some of the photos I took on ultra settings :) (don't worry, there are also low graphics settings)

The best nightmare? A level placed in the house (I didn't say it's not haunted). You will see on your own in 0.0.5 update! It will take some time to finish this map and add a little bit of story. Stay tuned :)

Seal Island Intro! For #ScreenshotSaturday!

After a long time I finally improved physics. On the gif, you can see how it works. Some items can be grabbed, some not. This is because of the weight of the items. [More info in article]
