Hello and welcome to the 7th devlog of Vivaio!
We’re going to talk about... the UI Update!

Together with the every-alpha version of the game, we’ve launched a new paid version: an Special Edition. The only difference is that on this new edition we’ve added the ability to change the appearance of some stuff (main menu, character…). We’re aiming to add a new “game skin” for every season (at least).
This Special Edition will help with the development of the game, and is our way to let people play Vivaio even if they can’t afford buying the game, but also reward those who make this possible. Is that a good idea?

And... lists! Here is what we have been working on for Alpha 8:
New features
Added Halloween Edition to the Special Edition pack. This is the first of what we expect to be several seasonal editions.
New Main menu. Yep. No more yellow texts. Background animation, custom credits sprites… And a lot more! Go play the game and see how awesome the animations are when you create a new farm (Cristian did an incredible work there!).
Sounds! Suarez has been working on sounds for the tools, the UI and a couple of things more.
New song for the night! Also by Suarez, thank you! If you want to listen to it, stay up until 9PM.
New font. Cristian has been working on a custom text font and we’ve used it for everything, of course.
Added a trash can. Place any object (except tools!) and they’ll disappear the next morning.
New cash register background.
Added R icon when building objects that can be rotated (only gates for now).
Added an animation for the load screen.
Improvements
Reworked all machines UI.
Reworked Options, Management and Farmazon menu UI.
Leave/take tool improved.
Added Control + Right click to add seeds on hand to a seeds box.
Object rotation system reworked. Fences and composite tiles now are rotated automatically.
Objects on floor reworked: now they don’t have a background, and when hovering with the mouse they light up.
Letters background reworked.
Changes
Wooden floor no longer can be rotated.
Removed “Destroy letter” button.
Updated Ann sprites.
Bugfixing
Fixed wrong customers animation when appearing.
Fixed machines UI not getting updated when using Control + Right/Left click.
Fixed fence gate wrong color when rotating.
