Headliners

  • The game has been renamed from ‘Bouncy Uppy’ to ‘Nudge Up’.

  • The Box no longer ‘dies’. Instead, the player can only spawn a limited amount of Bumpers in one go. But that amount will slowly recharge when the player isn’t trying to spawn Bumpers.

Other Additions

  • Added a visual marker that displays the highest height you reached.

  • Added a custom cursor.

  • Overhauled the aesthetic of the Menu. (Expect another overhaul soon)

  • Added the Box’s Squash & Stretch animation to Bumpers.

  • Replaced the Bounce particle effect.

  • Added movement to the main source of light in the scene.

  • Added a point light that follows the Box.

  • Overhauled the splash screen.

Other Tweaks

  • Adjusted how collisions with the Box are detected.

  • Disabled shadows & reflections on many of the materials used in the foreground.

  • Bumpers, the Box, it’s trails & particle effects no longer cast or receive shadows.

  • Adjusted the timing of the Squash & Stretch animation.

  • Adjusted the colour of the box’s trail to match the new particle effect.

  • Stopped Bumpers spawning when the game is paused.

Known Issues

  • The new Height Marker stops working when you reset or change levels.

  • The UI of the menus does not correctly adjust to aspect ratios that are not 16:9.
