Edgy ass origin story, does contain gore:

A runaway orphan was out on the streets during the winter.
It was freezing cold, and he had not many cloths.
He was starving, and under these conditions he wouldn't last long.
He would die, in the cold, all alone.
A figure approached him, and asked him were his parents were.
When looking at the figure, the boy saw he was a priest.
The priest offered him a stay and he agreed, walking to the church together.
He ate like he had never eaten before, and that night he could finally rest, in a warm, isolated place

He awoke only to find himself tied up in a room, with hooded figures around him chanting.
In the middel of the room was a round pool, completely filled up with blood.
There were dead goats laying on the ground around the pool, their bodies were mangled with multiple cuts, all their wounds had bled out and flowed into the pool.

The priest approached him with a blade.
He wanted to scream for help, but the rope was preventing him.
The priest slowly cut 2 giant slashes on his chest, then kneeled down besides him ''Sleep forever now, and let the infernal lords ascendant take your place''

Then he threw him in the pool.
He wanted to ressist, but he was still tied up.
The blood of the goats started to fill his lungs, and he succumbed to it.

A new creature arose from the blood.
It had had a goats head, a living tail, and wielded a golden scythe.
''Welcome to earth master'' said the priest to him as he looked into the creatures eyes.
It looked back.
Hatred
The priest realised it wasn't the devils ascendant standing before him, but the boy.
The ritual had failed and he had kept his last memories.
The creature lashed out at the cultists with his scythe, they were dead before they even got the chance to ressist.

The priest ran up the stairs with heavy breaths.
He needed to run, as far away, or else his own failure would take his life.

Jaws crushed his ankle.
He looked down, and saw that the creature tail had bit him.
It pulled him back, and he fell down the stairs, breaking his back.
The tail pulled him infront of the creature.
The priest begged for mercy as his own failure approached.
It stabbed his Scythe through the priests nose, into his face.
The scythes peak broke out of his skull on the other side.

His brain was damaged, but he wasn't dead yet.
In terror he watched the creature get closed to his face.
It smiled.
A few minutes later the priest died to his headtrauma.

The creature walked out of the church, into the night.
This wasn't the only group of people involved in this infernal religion, there were more churches like this communicating with eachother.
The priest had a list of them.

It looked up into the sky.
It would make these people pay.
And never let this happen to someone else
