Announcing AFTEREFFECT FINAL UPDATE, featuring Cruel Night-EX! #fnaf #indiedev #gamedev #fangame


It’s Moof, here with an official announcement for the final update! Are you having fun yet with AFTEREFFECT? We hope you are, and there’s more to come! The final update to AFTEREFFECT will be arriving sometime in April.

As stated previously, this update will mostly be focused on QoL changes, streamlining the ending code for Act 4, and Easter eggs. However, there is one new major piece of content that will be added. A harder difficulty for the act 4 boss night even harder than Cruel Night… Cruel Night-EX! I see how you all easily disassembled Cruel Night. For something designed to be cruel and unforgiving, it was beaten all too easily. Some even were bragging about how many times they were able to beat it. I see you all. We called in a friend of ours to hop in and make it a little harder. Do you have the strength to fight your inner demons and beat the definitive final challenge of AFTEREFFECT?

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
