Antivirus has officially released! I hope you download the full version and enjoy! Many additional modifications were done that I did not list in my last post, including:


Additions:

A very rare enemy that only spawns in the main campaign

An upgrade exclusive to the DOOMsday event, increasing damage against demons

Rare sound effect from Cyber Sentinels, which was already in the game but was overlooked and wasn't implemented

Fixes:

Users that aren't signed in no longer add their upgrades to a global database, giving others the upgrades that were obtained

Viral Residents and Body Hijackers no longer spawn on the player when a spawned drop touches them

Undead, Air, Life, Fire, and Dark Spell Punks no longer appear in their attacking pose when they spawn

Certain enemy projectiles that shouldn't be teleportable now aren't

Psych's list of projectiles that he can spawn is now grown to have all of them

Certain enemies and projectiles no longer appear over the UI

Removed some default sound effects to make the game smaller (relative to what it would be with them still in)

Changes:

Nerfed Glitched Soul hp to 6 (previously 10)

Nerfed Killer Drone hp to 60 (previously 75)

Decreased chance of Cyber Sentinels spawning in the first wave to 8.3% (previously 12%)

Nobleteers now take anywhere from 0.5-1 second to spew their toxic breath (previously 1-3 seconds)

Firewalls now only drop 1 disk on death (previously 3)

Nerfed Cyber Walker hp to 200 (previously 250)

Polymorphers now have a maximum possible health of 300 (previously no max)

Next up

I have decided to completely redo PvZ Infected from the ground up, as the older version was both buggy and annoying to add new plants, enemies, and levels. Just today, I have set myself up to make it much easier for me to expand the game.

I made an intro animation for Zelda-like Bosses today. I honestly thought it was going to take weeks, but I did it all this morning. At this point, Zelda-like Bosses is almost done!

The full release of Antivirus is coming soon, with several new changes! The game should be finished by the end of the year at the latest.

Project Protostar will be officially releasing on Monday!

Update on the top-down Doom game I was working on before: enemy variations from different games are included. The video demonstrates both the classic Pain Elemental and its Doom 64 counterpart in action (as well as their Lost Soul variations)

Antivirus will be receiving a build on the 16th to celebrate its first anniversary on Scratch! This will not be full release but will give a good idea of what that will be. Gamejolt API has been added as well, keeping your upgrades after closing the game!

I've begun making Doom top-down. Not certain if I'll make a full game out of it.

A pre-release build of Zelda-like Bosses is being released tomorrow. It contains most of the game, with most of the secrets removed. I hope you enjoy and fill out the form when the build is out!
