the basic idea is that
dogday
is the last smiling critter
alive
in the factory
and
the nightmare assho critters
mentally push him to the edge and this causes him to make a happier reality where
1) he's not trapped in the factory, and
2) the nightmare critters aren't mean
in this case, he makes up the "daydream critters" in this false reality.
the nightmare critters realize that dogday's mentally not here anymore, so they begin to regret their actions and try to bring him back.
