I backtracked a bit, focused more on my music projects (which I'll post here someday) and my motherboard decided to die and because of that I couldn't make more stuff for this devlog. Also today my vacations are over. I remember myself in school, being sad over the fact that there isn't going to be 3rd month of vacation. Now I got a j*b and have 2 weeks of freedom... nice. Anyway back to the devlog part:
Couple of updates since last time:
Made 2 bigger themes (Main Menu Theme & "Memories" Theme [in the photo]) and some other small sounds (One of endings theme & Placeholder for talking)
Implemented stuff:
WORKING DIALOG SYSTEM (only thing left to add to it are text effects)
Working on / Next up (hadn't changed much):
Text Effects
Lore based Quests
Interactions (for quests, objects, events, characters etc.)
Level design
Later on (still the same):
Opening Cutscene
Saving/Loading (it's not needed at the time and kinda frightens me)
Items (especially including the "hearts" and "gravestones" which are needed for secrets)
Dialog System is almost complete and soon I should be able to start working on the world design and items. Unfortunately it takes a lot of time and effort so this could take more than I lastly thought. But thats no biggie, since I have no hard deadline. Only deadline I have right now is to complete a demo build for you guys to check out. It should be released before 2026 starts (or atleast I hope so). Game is still in active development and WILL be released someday.
