Arcade* Devlog 1

*temporary title


Didn't believe it was possible but,

I did as I said and after ~3 days we have more than ever before. And even though it's my first game in GameMaker I think it will come out quite decent.

Some things implemented into it:

  • Player movement and collision

  • Sprinting

  • Decent artstyle (might change later in development)

Right now im focusing on:

  • Getting better at pixel art

  • Writing lore for the game

  • Working on dialog system and interactions

  • And mostly having fun

There are still many many things that aren't even considered at the time like soundtrack but we'll get to it eventually.

As of right now the game is ready for further development and I will keep you updated on any new features or changes.

Commission I finished for a client on Twitter. Easily the hardest animation I've ever worked on, and I'm very happy with the results!

In the AR we play as Quill - Nell's alternative spirit, and we discover the lands of Distorted Cementery. There's nothing else in the world. All roads lead to Blacklight and you can't save anyone now

After watching Inside Out 2 I really wanted to make my own beautiful and loving emotions! Helplessness, Mania, Misery, Paranoia and Uncontrollable Rage Aww how beautiful they are
