It's because if I went on in project storage, something could happen where I accidentally delete something and everything would pretty much be gone. So having a file where it has all the level data in it all ready to be decoded is just a backup way to store levels, at least until I implement the data into the project so it can use it to load levels. Plus it also sorta makes it a bit more convenient for me too, even though yeah when things do change I do have to update the saving/loading code to account for it, but I'm willing to comply with that. There is also another specific reason too! Which is to make it easier to transport instead of having to sluggishly having to take every single list in the project export it and load it every time, I can just load in one file and it'll do everything in one go. Which also leads into a future hope I have, which is when the game gets into a state where eventually people will be able to like mod and create their own levels to share with other people(I know it's a STRETCH, but it's just something I wanna keep in mind)
But yeah
probably gonna tweak some stuff with it eventually, but I'll work on other things with the game and stuff
