There's some really impressive stuff that has tremendously inspired me both long before and most recently that contributed to this project's development.
It should go without mentioning these works as the ethos/themes of these different projects were some I identified with or thoroughly enjoyed.
Please go check these out in your own time:
* The Beginner's Guide: An emotionally struggling narrative experience from Davey Wreden. (creator of The Stanley Parable)* Omori: Renowned indie psychological horror game from OMOCAT. A game about loss, friendship, and other human elements.* Bioshock Infinite: A familiar story within the Bioshock franchise. The end of the ouroboros.* imscared: The critically acclaimed meta horror experience by the talented Ivan Zanotti. Recently he has announced a spiritual successor to this title, Remnants of A Scare. (Wishlist on Steam now!)-* The kaktusverse: A pseudo-canon of connected articles and tales within the SCP Foundation's collaborative-collective universe named after its author, djkaktus; a veteran contributor to the scp wiki.* The Thief of Always: Dark fantasy children's novel by Clive Barker. An epic tale of the fantastically impossible.* The House with a Clock in its Walls: Gothic children's novel by John Bellairs. Another epic tale of the fantastical and the mysticism of the dark forces at play.-* The works of the late Tom Clancy: Novelist, screenwriter, probably the best goddamn political-scifi-historical fiction writer that ever was. You may or may not have seen his stuff before.
