Blorp Adventure: Development Status Update 4


I am happy to report that a LOT has been added and changed since the last Development Status Update.

A week after Update 3, I decided to restart development on the game because the files were very unorganized and I was confused with what scripts did what. Now that I have restarted, development has gone smoothly and everything is organized.

Anyway, I redesigned the logo and the main menu design has been finalized as well! The black circle on the left will be replaced with backgrounds that change based on your progress. Along with the main menu, I have also made a File Select menu with informational text under each File option about the progress made in that file.

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

My school had state exams last week, and after finishing I decided to sketch concept art for a Blorp Adventure character! His name is Mr. Shoes and he will be a shopkeeper in the game.
