Lore Dump!: (a long one so bare with me🙏)

Vero is from a world of humans but with 100% magic, unlike Vic's with 50% and additional creatures. Means everyone can use it, thus it ain't special but just a way of life. Most have weak or useless powers for battle so part is still like a normal, comfy life trying to get by.

Although that doesn't mean that nothing is happening;

The population is always divided by those who do good and those who do bad (think of heroes vs villains but 24/7). If a villain dies, another gets born and the other way around. You can be a hero but turn bad and again yada yada.

Battling foes are a daily occurrence (like wizards and witches fighting with spells, strength-based powers, mind-controllers, etc.) and are the balance that keeps their world going (Kids and Elderly mostly excluded from fighting).

Vero's been a hero (I swear the rhyme was unintentional💀) until a random "low-class" villain put a spell on her, turning her into what she looks like now with her giving up the fighting immediately after.

Now barely able to eat or speak and scaring kids whenever she walked past them she searched for a way out: a myth about these other worlds, to open realms beyond her own that might accept her for what she is. So she did somehow go, only that it wasn't what she hoped for...

(Spells are irreversible there, no matter who did it. So there's no fixing it, only theoretically accepting ✌)
