Brand spankin' new build!


Version 0.80 now available!! I’m calling it the “Extended Demo” because it’s gonna be free anyway.

This is a big one! lots of graphical tweaking. new special effects, gameplay tweaks, etc…
The biggest thing that is changed is the way coins work. I thought it seemed a bit too easy to gain massive amounts of extra lives in this game so I changed a few things:

-Gold coins are now worth 2 instead of 5
-Treasure chests are now trickier to find and there are less of them
BUT!
-Enemies now drop coins! the number of coins is somewhat randomized and depends of the enemy type. tougher enemies obviously will drop more than the weak ones.

You can still rack up tons of lives but you just have to work for it a bit more. plus it’s very satisfying to defeat a bunch of enemies in a row with invincibility and then reap your reward!

Also, while I’m thinking about, I still need play testers! Really, the easiest way to go about this is if some people can make a video for youtube of them playing this, you can do commentary or not but I just want to see how other people play this besides myself. Commentary would be best though, you can tell me what you like and what you don’t like and if I agree or see your point then I will tweak accordingly! Then just email me the link at [email protected]! I’d really, REALLY appreciate it! it’s for the betterment of the game!

Next up

So, after a few years of being burnt out creatively I'm starting a brand new project, after a few weeks I've got a pretty decent prototype / alpha started with a unique art style. Once I feel like it's a bit more complete I'll upload a playable alpha.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Heya! I wanted to show some gameplay progress i made so far. I hope you like it ^^

Sometimes the suction cup get sticky. Small animation I made in Blender after doing my tutorial on picking up/dropping objects in animations. Crate model by jQueary (https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/game-ready-sci-fi-crate-d98deca6…).

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
