Christmas Nightmare goes "HD"!


Happy weekend, adventurers!

BEFORE I BEGIN: Clickteam Fusion 2.5 games are currently having problems being detected as viruses. They're seemingly having a lot of trouble sorting this out, but I promise you this game is NOT a virus. If you don't want to risk it, I understand, but that's all I can say.

After the recent update to A Taste of Adventure, and with December right around the corner... Dragon Dreams: Christmas Nightmare goes "HD"!  As with the other game, I'm keeping the latest previous version public too, v1.1.3.

Along with the "HD" upgrade, Version 1.2.0 also brings other smaller changes and fixes, and the new "Corrupted" modifier again, simulating a corrupted game rom or something! (Inspired by Vinesauce)

I hope you enjoy!  The main game is still in early development, but I still hope to finish it some day.

Additions:
- "HD" HAS ARRIVED! Updated the visuals with full colour!
- ADDED NEW OPTION: Low HP Beep (Turns on/off audio beeping when at low health)
- ADDED NEW MODIFIER: Corrupted (Simulates the effects of a corrupted game, glitching graphics, audio, gameplay)
- Added "LOADING" notification after intro text, as load times have increased.
- Added coloured lights for Christmas lights (only visible with Darkness modifier)

Changes:
- Improved main menu navigation.
- Slightly reduced casting cost of Barrier.
- Clarified inventory tutorial window.
- Clarified equipment and upgrade information windows (the stars were very vague).
- Added pitch variance to some sound effects.
- Updated gold coin icon in shop information windows.
- Improved the way lighting works with fires. They are now flickery, and correctly light and extinguish!
- Stopped stone basin fires from causing damage. They are purely for lighting.

Fixes:
- Moved "CAUTION" sign. You could previously get screen-scrolled into it and stuck!
- Added missing interactions between Ice Bat frost and fires.
- Stopped inactive Mimics from disappearing momentarily when you leave a screen, spoiling their identity!

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
