Woah, it's already October!!! Spooky...
Getting right into it, this week has been a little cleanup week gameplay-wise!
New Gameplay Content
In all honesty, if this is slow, it's on me (Mono) ;-;
Finally finished detailing how the player can attain their objective!! The ship is now planned to be repairable, with ways to do so clearly set out in the code and UI. This is the opposite of "show, don't tell" since there's nothing to show for it yet, but yeah. Updates.
Bug Fixes
Programmers have been fixing bugs this week (we still have a couple more to go, like fixing camera movements), and so far, it's going well!
Minor Turret Updates
Turret Model has been updated to fit in the hex tile, since before it stuck out too far.
UI Updates
The look and arrangements of the UI have been adjusted, the biggest changes being button resizes to ensure the player isn't distracted by the UI or the interface doesn't cover anything.
We are now adding these elements into the actual game, using some free assets for the time being.
To Wrap Things Up
Again, thanks for reading this log!! We're hoping to get a game with all the core components by the 15th, so we may be able to produce an early build of the game to share here soon :D
