In all seriousness though, I'd love to try my hand at making a simplistic 3D game one day. Probably a walking simulator of some sorts?

It's a bit intimidating, 3D game development, but I remember feeling the exact same way about 2D game development in the past. I sat down to teach myself how to use GameMaker through tutorials and playful practice. (messing around)
Not only is UE5 free, the internet is loaded with tutorials. The only thing stopping me from being able to make a three dimensional game is my time, effort and patience. I've got all three when I apply myself, so why not just do it.

I do a lot of 3D modeling for my day-job at an architectural firm so those skills will come in handy! I'm only a few hours into UE5 so there's much to learn, but you know what they say... ''if you don't open the box, you can't eat the cake''
I'll keep you posted. Have a lovely weekend everyone! -Tim
