Shifted Reality takes place after a failed Genocide Route in the Storyshift AU

What happened is Frisk just got finished with killing Chara and was moving on to Sans but this time it would be different. Boogie had an idea that would easily distract both Frisk and Metta from reaching the end. Boogie tells Sans about the past good routes giving Sans an opportunity to change everything, he learned how Frisk was taken over by Metta and figured out a way to break the link. After a long fight of Sans talking Frisk out of it Metta and Frisk separate giving Boogie the opportunity to kill both Frisk and Metta while they were distracted.

Boogie then Resets the timeline.

Something went wrong though that reset broke everything causing the Reality to break changing the outcome of the Universe. After that Frisk falls into the underground again not familiar with what happened in the past. Frisk then meets Metta right off the bat where they talk for a bit. Metta realizes that Frisk doesn’t remember what happened giving him the opportunity to pretend to act good waiting until Frisk reaches the end to finally carry out with his plan until then though he needs to restore all the power that he lost and will need help from Frisk to regain it. Boogie on the other hand doesn’t remember what happened in the last route so he would be doing what he would usually do at this point he would try to kill Frisk again but gets stopped yet again by Papyrus. things look similar so far that will change though once Sans introduces himself way earlier on in the Ruins.

The Caretaker Role: Papyrus Still

(he’s no longer a Prince but an Ex Royal Guard)

The Judge Role: Chara Still

The Ambitious Role: Asriel Still

(but he won’t be a boss anymore instead Sans is encountered in his place)

The Captain Of The Royal Guard Role: Undyne

The Recluse Role: Alphys and Glyde

(why I say both is because Glyde takes the boss Role while Alphys takes the Main Role)

The Royal Scientist Role: Sans

The Celebrity Role: Mad Dummy/Mew Mew

The Monarch Role: Toriel

The Soulless Angel Role: Napstablook Still

The Fallen Role: Metta Still

Asgore is now deceased

(He died in a tragic incident that you’ll learn in the story)

Muffet takes the Role of The Canine Unit

(Rather than being a Royal Guard Member like the Canine Unit she’s a mercenary hired to take out Frisk you’ll encounter her early in Violet Forest)

Tasque Manager takes over Muffets Role that she had in og undertale

(Yes a Deltarune character not much to say about her right now)

Gaster is no longer deceased

(He’s has retired from being the Royal Scientist but still helps Sans from time to time)

Susie and Noelle both are high ranked Royal Guard Members

(These two will try and stop Frisk before they reach Undyne though Noelle doesn’t really like the idea of taking Frisk’s soul Susie loves it)
