We've finally updated the mob death animations. For quite some time mobs just disappeared without any fanfare, so as we continue to polish our systems and designs we spent some time to make our first version of mod deaths.

We have now fully implemented the masters for the Wizard and Swordsman classes. You can find them in their designated buildings in Anghoul to learn new spells and skills.

A new crafting station has been added to the game. It can be found in the blacksmith building, and is used to craft items you've discovered that the blacksmith won't produce. Nearly every item in the game can be crafted, however you need to have acquired the item first. This will allow players to try and max out their equipment through crafting if they want, or maybe you just like a specific sword and yours breaks before you can repair it.

We decided to add an item breakdown system to the game. In addition to selling, dropping, or destroying items you may not want, you can now break down items into their material components. So if you want some extra wood to craft more swords, you can break down your wooden sword to get the materials. However, the worse the durability is, the less materials you will get from the breakdown.

We've finally updated the character creation menu. There's no new features, but the menu looks and functions much better than before.

One of the first features we did some concepts for was an item dex. We enjoy collecting items in games, trying to 100% complete the collection. Finally after quite some time of development we've added the collection index. Whenever you collect an item, it'll show in your collection dex. For those who enjoy collecting items, you'll have an easy way to see what you have or have not collected.

The menu will be updated as more items are added, with the ability to sort by rarity and location found.

Several new models for the environment
Skybox system has been updated to give us more weather options and customization
Spell system finally is functional in all 4 use slots
All the VFX have been optimized, providing a 10% FPS increase in heavy use
Melee combat has been tweaked
Tweaked and fixed the way crafted items provide stat buffs. Before it would glitch semi-easily, and a negative stat point wouldn't change for better or for worse. Now it does, giving a better range for stat chances
Mob drop is updated, so now it looks better
Added a couple more spells/skills
Mobs now have the ability to recoil when hit
