Devlog #2 - Joining Islands


Hey all! This is the second development update for the game and although it may seem minor, getting the online foundation working is a crucial part of the game (believe it or not ).

More commands will be added in the future (not all were shown in the video) and will mostly remain as server-related commands, whether that be kicking someone or even jailing someone? There's a lot that can be applied to this game from Minecraft servers so I'll make sure there is a good balance of serious and silly commands just for the fun of it.

That's all for now, the actual gameplay will begin development next. If you have not read the development process notice then please do so here!

Next up

Just pushed a small fix for Project Readjusted 3 and decided to give the multiplayer mode some better Discord Rich Presence while I was at it!

Me realizing my last published game was Bust 'em Up

You can now play Lumber Islands with an Xbox controller! All you have to do is press START with a controller hooked up. I must say, it is the most casual way to play personally!
