Devlog 24: 10.06....16.06.2024

Also available on https://murumart.neocities.org/g/gregrpg/

Greetings! This week I finished the president bossfight and implemented the fast travel system that I first promised, uh, 2 years ago or so.

Here's a slightly more detailed change log.

  • president fight finished with cutscenes and everything

  • phone calls updated, there are more of them now

  • police station interior design update

  • messed around with greenhouses to fix a bug

  • improvements based on a playtesting session (thank you june webcatz)

  • credits and license should be correct now

  • added second bike ghost and fast travel between bikes

  • then some work on the woods.

The coming week, I think my focus should remain on the woods. The forest path. It's an area for the player to grind and level up, mostly - you can go deeper and deeper into the woods to fight more powerful enemies and gain nice loot while doing it. I just need to flesh it out with more things to do, more things to fight, more things to find.

Goodbye.

Using binary space partitioning to make my dungeon layout!

Summer

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

#screenshotsaturday

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Finished a project I've been working on over the last few days!

Modeled and textured in Blender.

So here's the first of the zodiac signs i will make for the next weeks.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
