The game looks interesting.
Here's what (glitches/bugs) I've found so far:
If you walk up next to the fence to the right of the police building you can get stuck at the top.

Cool Game! But Heres A Bug For FeedBack! Walking To The Next Road After That I Go Up And Then I Go To The Road Where I Came From Then I Say Yes Game Gets Stuck In A Tree Cant Interact With AnythingWhoops u can pause the game but you do get stuck in a tree and u cannot press any button in the menu for people dont wanting to happen save ur file and close the game and load ur game again should fix it

🌼Greg RPG pre-release "demo" 🌳

Greg is an in-development "quirky, Earthbound-inspired" role-playing video game starring the titular Greg character.

😴It came to me in a dream. Greg drives back to his childhood town, but finds his old home occupied by an old florist. Greg, reasonable as he is, decides to kick the old woman out - but he is weak!

💥This is where you come in! Fight, battle, grind. 💪 Give Greg the experience he needs - and then defeat the evil Grandma. (disclaimer: you cannot defeat Grandma yet. it's not implemented)

🧃Gameplay: walk around town until a problem appears, and then take care of it. You will receive experience, which brings more problems your way!

(This is the core gameplay loop of fight enemies -> level up -> more enemies -> cutscenes, minigames and such -> fight more -> level up. It is grindy. Beware of that.)

📗 Story: from the depths of my dreams, it is before you now. Your goal is to violently usurp an old woman you consider a squatter... Or perhaps... Is there more to it than just that? What kind of world were you brought into?

🃏 The future: I will develop this game until I consider it finished, at which point I will release it here and on Itch dot I O. This will be my first full-scale game project and I'm excited to make more after this.

Controls:

Arrow keys / WASD: move around the world and menus
Z / Enter / Space: interact, accept
X: cancel
C: various menus
CTRL + S / CTRL + O: save and load your game! do this often!!!

I'm putting my unfinished game up on Gamejolt, my old pal, to get more feedback for it. Let me know about any bugs and other grievances you gather while playing. My game... it needs to be stable for the full release this summer.

The current progress... I judge I'm around 80% done with the game. There is unique content all the way up to level 50, everything after which I am still yet to finish. But I'll get there. It's been over a year, and this time won't be going to waste.
