Devlog March 2025:

Springbonnie’s AI and NIGHT 2.


So I’ve decided that one night for the demo would be too short so I'm going to include NIGHT 2 also.

This means that Springbonnie will be on NIGHT 2. Originally Springfoxy was going to be on the second night but Springbonnie makes more sense to be encountered first so Springfoxy will be moved to NIGHT 3, this means he will be active in the second demo which will release who knows how long after this one lol.


What I'm doing now:

Springbonnie’s AI: 95% done his AI is completely different from Fredbear’s and he’s way more consistent and a way bigger threat especially if you stay in your office for most of the night. (His jumpscare is also my favorite I’ve made so far.)

Completely redoing Fredbears animations cause they completely broke again.. (I'll make them a lot better than they were this time though.)

SpringFoxy 35% complete (REMAKING): makes minor movements on his stage but won’t fully activate for now however he can still kill you if you touch him. (His AI is a rushed and janky copy of Fredbears, makes absolutely no sense, and will be completely reworked to be more like accurate and more of a threat like Springbonnie’s later on)

The Puppet 1983: exists but is non functional for now. (Will most likely be functional in the second demo with an original mechanic. I already have a good idea.)

SpringEndo: Don’t even touch him lol, he broke Fredbear when i made an animation for him and accidentally used Fredbear’s skeleton. he will probably be cut from the game after the demo releases because he has no purpose and has just broken things and wasted time.

Original Freddy: (he’s deactivated in the front of the parts and services room. he isn’t functional for now and will possibly be replaced in the full release unless I can figure out what to do with him.)

Withered Golden Freddy: sits in your office and will have an interaction and other things eventually, so he is inactive for now.

Extras menu is 100% complete. (For the demo at least)

Changing the map: I've made some rooms smaller because there was a bit too much open space so it looks a lot better now lol.

Completely redid the lighting: A few days ago a friend of mine said he thought the game was too "Bright" so i made it a lot darker and almost completely redid the lighting, it still looks mostly the same but a lot darker.

Adding more props to the party rooms and main dining area to make the place feel more alive.

Making posters of the animatronics: Fredbear, Springbonnie and Springfoxy for now.

Adding more Easter eggs: (shush many secret. You’ll see.)

Added an option to cap your fps from 15 to 120 in the graphics menu.

Adding less loud and annoying footsteps for the player eventually:

Fixed a bug: (the camera system still allowing you to walk around in your office while still in cams, which makes the camera shake affect apply to the cameras too when you walk which is super annoying.)

Making Fredbear more overpowered: (since his AI is so random he likely won’t even come towards your office unless you get super unlucky, so i might as well make him harder to lose if he see's you)

Giving the player a better flashlight:

Optimizing more:


Username change:

i've finally come up with a better username lol.

And that’s pretty much it! I’m still trying as hard as I can to push for release of the demo in mid April after some testing that will happen very soon lol.
