Why there haven't been any updates / Remaking the game:


Hey i'd just like to say thank you all for supporting and playing my games, Rise Of Fredbears is at 105 downloads somehow and Phantom Purgatory is at 50. Becoming a game developer has been a dream of mine since i was a little kid and it's really awesome to see it come true.


Bad News:

So the other day when trying to open the project file for Rise Of Fredbears i found out it was corrupted. i was planning to start development again and improve a lot of things since i've learned a ton from working on Phantom Purgatory.

However now i dont really have any other option than to just remake it, most models will remain the same but the map and everything else will be completely remade. (as of writing this ive already restarted development)


What’s going to happen with the current alpha build?:

The current alpha build might also be deleted because cause I absolutely hate that version of the game and i’m pretty sure no one likes it either because of how bad and boring it is. (I will probably make a poll to decide)

If you haven’t played it already, the animatronics are unable to run and just walk at you when they see you because I somehow had no idea how to make them able to which is kind of embarrassing lol. Their AI is also really bad, Springbonnie is beyond buggy, and Fredbear has the spatial awareness of an actual doorknob.

The game also has terrible optimization and runs horribly on pretty much anything.


Anyway here’s a small list of ideas and major changes I’m planning to make or have done already:

  • Redoing Fredbear and Springbonnie from the ground up

  • Making Springfoxy and most of the others active for the demo

  • Writing a story that’s not mainly focused on the events before the bite of 83 and having a predictable ending.

  • Giving the player objectives for every night

  • Custom night (Maybe)

  • A Survival and endless gamemode that gets more and more difficult

  • The protagonist has a physical model now

  • Revamped directional movement and animations for the player

  • There MIGHT be full voice acting when the full game releases but not In the demo, I will discuss this in a later post probably lol.

  • Replacing many many textures

  • Making the puppet active with a special mechanic

  • Many props will be interactive

  • Animatronics will now move their heads to look at you

  • The game will have some cinematic cutscenes

  • The game will be a LOT more optimized unlike Phantom Purgatory and the shitty alpha for this i've released.

  • Adding special game over screens for each animatronic (just like I did for Phantom Purgatory)

  • You now have to manually walk to the exit door at 6am (Again, just like Phantom Purgatory)

  • Massively improving AI

  • Making nights 7 minutes long

  • Improving the camera system a ton and removing all bugs

  • Better post processing

  • Redoing the entire map, it’s gonna be a lot larger (Not to be turned into the tnaf map)

  • Making the overall look and feel of the game darker.

  • Changing all animations (Mostly)

  • Making rooms a lot less big and hollow

  • Making better bathrooms.. (I know they’re fucking massive and bad)

  • Realtime jumpscares (it just loads you into a level in alpha)

  • Different music and soundtrack

  • There will be proper testing before i release anything because i'm terrible at spotting bugs

    Ok maybe that’s not a small list..


What about 360000 milliseconds with Wade?:

This is still planned but it probably wont be worked on until the main game is done.

(If you don’t know what that is it’s basically just an extra funny game mode i want to make.)

It won’t be scrapped and if anything it will be renamed.


So what’s next?:

depending on how smoothly development goes the next public build WILL be a 3 night demo, after that will likely be the full release or another longer demo, I’m fairly confident I can do that now. I’ll also have more time since it’s the start of the summer now.

Not all assets will be reused so you'll probably see me updating the game page description a lot.

As for the release date for it, I’m going to estimate around very late July to October 2025 but it could get done earlier or way later, I honestly have no idea.
