#Devruary I learnt some of it as I made small games on Scratch over the years until I left it for other engines.

And I'd watch devlogs and tips for devs on Youtube once in a while where I learnt some new stuff about gamedev (although I'm still a newbie).

Scratch was the first game engine I ever used (check this post for the lame backstory), and I've been using it until highschool where I finally decided to move on to other advanced game engines (you can do many stuff in Scratch and I've seen many very impressive projects, but some of its limitations are unavoidable).

I've tried to use Unity or Unreal engine many years ago but I just couldn't get the hang of it (also my pc couldn't handle it lol), thankfully GB studio just feels nice to use after Scratch since it also has a similiar block-based programming to it (and for actual GameBoy games which is cool).

My very embarassing Blender assignement I had to do in 11th grade (April 2024), had to go to the exam to pass LOL

I modelled everything (except for some minimal objects), I got the textures online and later animated this.

My old animation tests from 2023!

I did these for fun, as I wanted to make my own animated series with this character, but these loops was the best I could animate at the time. (I got inspired in the 2001 pilot "A Kitty Bobo Show" for the style in the 2!)

I haven't been able to come up with anything latelly, so I tried to sketch a random line (2nd image) and then draw whatever comes to mind following that line

I can't describe what I just drew but I kinda liked this experiment!

Testing out a new move! This move is for all characters

#Devruary

I always liked videogames, and as a kid I always wanted to make my own because creating stuff was my thing, so I started out with Scratch when I was in 3th grade and I'm now working on a GameBoy game! (I experiment with other game engines too)
