A couple things have changed since my last post a couple days ago. The main thing is that I have yet again changed how I want story mode to flow.
I am now planning for the story mode to feel like its own game, rather than 3 different minigames with a story strangely placed within. I previously stated that I had about 33% of story mode finished, but that may change drastically depending on how I decide to move the story forward.
The main thing that can set the story mode back is whether or not I keep the first 1/3 of the game. It's set in the same office as custom night and has its own little minigame which is pretty fun and I really like it, however it may not end up fitting. I'll come back to that at some point.
The OTHER big change is that I will now be focusing on the puzzles & story, rather than an AI that will hunt you down during puzzles. I want a game that'll be fun and won't be too difficult for players, and keeping AI to a minimum would be a good way to keep it easy, and adding puzzles and other things will still keep it fun.
I'll also begin integrating the story soon. I have been putting it off in order to get some of the main gameplay elements complete, but I will resume story writing again soon.
Let me know your thoughts on these changes and what you'd like to see :)
