People have heard of gods and their powers which can he used either for good, or bad. But who's to say one day they may snap and decide to destroy or harm humanity, who will step in to save them when other gods cannot?

Then the godslayer himself Equinox is to be summoned, though all beings in the universe fear him. Rumors and legends surrounded this mysterious being, as very little knew exactly what he was capable off.

Equinox was created specifically to be a failsafe in the case of a God going rogue, then his Blightfire was needed in order to kill them off or the very least shut them down. His towering 10 foot stature is matched by the fearsome weaponry he wields.

His Blightfire is his most notable weapon: a devouring element hat saps away a gods power into his own, draining them of the glamorous powers they had. It doesn't just have to be fire too, it could be ice or lightning and such but fire is the most effective after all. It is to be used sparingly.

However he himself, when he isn't doing his job, is quite eager to meet people and get to know them. After all, being the deity that is designed to specifically kill gods and deities alike, why can't he socialize and try to make friends? Given he's getting bored of his role, he has been assigning loyal followers portions of his powers to at least beat up some deities into behaving.
