It's kinda like in Klonoa where you can use the enemies in there to either double jump or throw them. It's true that Klonoa is not just a platformer so these mechanics are not just for it, but I'm planning a similiar approach with Koppy (not making it a puzzle platformer entirelly but simply adding some sections that require some planning with the way you use the enemies).
But why?
I showed this game to my aunts and they told me that I could do something more different with this game rather than a "copy of Mario" (which is true, if you make Mario jump the same way as Koppy does then it's literally the same gameplay if not counting the level design)
So this next phase of development will be centered around experimenting with different mechanics and stuff that makes this game enough to stand up on its own (while not getting too complex because this first game will set up a formula for the next possible sequels I'll make in the future! Once I finish this game ofc)
