I decided it would be better if this game was a completely separate thing from anything else I've made.
It being separate from the Coolverse won't affect the game or its lore in the slightest, nor will it affect anything that remains in the Coolverse.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
