”but flash!! why is the pokemon scarlet/violet realm on this post!”

well to answer that, pokemon remembrance and forgotten uses the “past and future” gimmick, but instead its past and present, no future.

now, to explain what inspired pokemon remembrance and forgotten…

now, onto the region, lore, and gimmicks.

REGION

our games take place in a Los Angeles themed region, which is funny because that’s where HB (Hanna Barbera) Studios is. (Based off this map below.)

The region will be called Aelmore. I’m still deciding on ideas so please, comment down below if you have better names.

LORE

Now, onto the lore.

There was once a great laboratory that was called Hatic at the very top of Aelmore, which had been demolished by 2 unknown beings. This lab had a very strange substance inside of it, which seemed to be static in a liquid form. This liquid had covered most of the land near the lab, thankfully no nearby towns and villages were harmed/covered by the liquid. But sadly, Pokémon that were near the lab by that time had been covered in the liquid, giving them new horrific forms and the rise of a new typing, Static. These Pokémon had become hostile and attacked nearby villages and towns, making everyone evacuate the towns nearest to the lab for their safety. You were sadly apart of those evacuations, and had to be moved down to a small town named Tines, the town farthest away from the hostile Pokémon and the labs.

After 10 years, your parents (yes, you have a dad in this game!) send you out onto your Pokémon journey, hoping and wishing the best for you. Little did you know, you would uncover the secrets behind the forgotten lab of Aelmore, and what caused the destruction behind it.

GIMMICKS

Now, onto the gimmicks!

The new gimmick will be called Staticify, which will change the appearance of your pokemon, like mega evolving. With the new item in shape of a small pokeball (like the Tera orb in Pokémon SV) that you will get a bit later on in your journey, after you defeat the first gym.

Staticify will effect:

Starter Pokémon, Some regional Pokémon, and regional variations of old Pokémon.
