I'm working on a project for this semester that I plan to scale up to something more than just a project... A completed game! Not only that but we, the Capnet Corps Team plan to compete in game competitions with this project, so we're really giving it our all.
It's our turn-based, strategy, tower defense game!
Set in a futuristic sci-fi world, humanity has overpopulated itself and must look to new frontiers. And what better place than the vast expanse of space!
You follow a passenger ship as it ventures out to a habitable planet. However, as the ship passses through space debris, it's damaged critically and crashes into the closest planet.
Learning that the inhabitants of this planet aren't so happy to see aliens, the military team aboard the ship must fight to defend the civilians aboard until enough resources are reclaimed; Enough to repair the ship, and escape.
As we're entering our third week working on this game, the game is still very much in early-production. Currently in the pre-production phase, game designers (Myself and Ninja) are working hard to ensure that the gameplay will be fun and interesting (and of course semi-balanced).
Hopefully some proper gameplay and characters can be showcased soon!! (we're working on getting models ready!)
