Fight/Train Alpha 1.1.0 - New Pay System

Hello Everyone

I have been working diligently on Alpha 1.1.0 since yesterday, I’ve put about 14-16 hours into it already. It’s almost ready, all of the coding is done, everything works well. Right now I am working on rebalancing league 1 to match the changes I have done.

Earlier, I posted up an article talking about the change to the payout system, but later retracted it. I was having a good deal of difficulty getting the payout system to work the way I wanted. Now I have a solid payout system.

In Alpha 1.0.0 every time you beat someone you got x amount of cash, and that has not changed.. well the amounts have changed quite a bit. Now every time you buy a restore item, the cost goes up. It’s small to begin with, but it goes up very quickly. Every enemy you fight is way stronger than your previous opponent, so you will have to fight an enemy over and over, however it won’t be some astronomical amount, because the payout’s are pretty generous.

When I add more Leagues into the game I may change the system to give you training points each time you beat an opponent, so that the cash can be used to buy attacks. Really this all depends on player feedback (it really won’t matter either way, because I will increase the TP cost every time you train). So please let me know what you would prefer.

Anyway, I have to get back to working on this. I may stop soon, because I am getting tired of staring at a computer screen, my eyes are starting to strain. If all goes well hopefully I will be able to give you all this release tomorrow. Considering I have found no bugs it should be possible.

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

I have added rewards for quests so that villagers can give you something in return for your hard work helping them. 🥳

I want to know - what's your favourite quest reward?

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
