Fight/Train Alpha v1 - Sound Test Video, Soundtrack, Outdoor and Indoor Environments


Everything here is a WIP.

No theme yet for indoors, but here is a work in progress shot of the players home, basically it will be used for sleeping to skip ahead time. It’s pretty rough so far, using the voxel engine to make the various things you see (right to left - Fridge - Dresser - Lamp (a really shitty lamp) and a bed. I added a light source to the lamp, it’s actually a point light, for some reason area lights were not working, probably because its a pro feature. It works for now.

The light to the left is two spot lights, trying to emulate an open door (there is no forth wall), so I am trying to get this working well, the indoors are cramped. I am looking forward to working on the dojo and shop, pretty much going to cut and paste this house, just to save time. I will explain what they are for (not just random houses with random people) in the future when I work on developing that portion of the game, in the mean time they will just be blank houses.

I am going to make the dojo big, which gives me more room to work. When making the furniture I had to shrink the voxels, with more space I won’t have to do that as often.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
