Fireproof [experimental story-driven platformer] released!


Over a month ago, I released an initial version of Fireproof, a short but challenging platformer about memories, burning things and starting a new life. Fireproof features:

  • A unique visual style

  • Unconventional platforming mechanics over 15 increasingly challenging levels

  • A (metaphorically rendered) personal story

  • Atmospheric (and original) soundtrack

Since the feedback I received for the game here and elsewhere did not make mention of any bugs, I decided to consider the current version to be the game’s final release. I hope you enjoy playing Fireproof!

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
