“Too ugly to serve , too strange to starve”

Rachel is walking throughout the city after being rejected , again because of her face. Hands balled into fist by the side , lowered and knitted eyebrows and a tensing jaw , wich may jut out slightly. She snarled at everyone who dared putting their eyes on her , continuing her path she pause and looks at a pizzeria titled “Howl Haus Pizza” , Rachel squints at a taped-up flyer in the window. It’s sun-bleached and peeling but still readable:

“NOW HIRING – NIGHT SECURITY

No experience needed. Must be able to stay awake.

We accept everyone.”

The door creaked open under Rachel’s push , the stale cent of pizzas and dust welcoming her. She stepped in , crooked a creepy smile, but her eyes stayed still, Brows slanted downward and pinched in tension. The light flickered overhead casting long shadows that danced like ghosts against the cracked tile floor.

Her eyes scanned the room , shivering slightly at the sight of a certain animatronic , sun-like but.. not quite. “Damn how is this even appropriate for kids.” She muttered to herself with raised eyebrows , wide eyes. She keep walking until—

THUD

She bump into an animatronic , jacc. The wolf animatronics’s grinned impossibly wide , eyes as dark as void,One of the voids wasn’t empty. Deep inside, almost too small to notice, blinked a single human-like eye… wet, watching, and horribly real. Rachel’s forced smile faltered, her chest tightening with a slow, creeping dread. This wasn’t some joke or cheap mascot, The stale air seemed to thicken, punctuated by the faint mechanical hum of Jacc’s joints. A cold shiver ran down her spine.

Then, before she could gather her racing thoughts, the director stepped from the shadows behind Jacc. His smile was crooked—too sharp, too knowing—and his eyes gleamed with something not quite human. “Didn’t mean to spook you. He looks worse than he is — I promise. Welcome aboard.” He raises his hand for a handshake then down with a hint of embarrassment when he see that Rachel don’t raise hers. He clear his throat before speaking again “well then… I forgot to present myself , my name’s Jack Catwoz. But around here, I go by Director..”

Silence.

‘Follow me,’ Jack said, and turned down the hall. Rachel hesitated, but then followed 

You’ll be watching cameras. Door control. Light switches. You know — basic stuff. Keep the animatronics from getting too… adventurous.”

He kept walking without looking back, hands in his pockets, voice calm like he wasn’t describing something horrifying.

“Getting too what now.”

Rachel muttered under her breath, horrified at what she was about to live through.
