After PLASM FUNKIN's demo, I've decided that the team deserved a rest. We reunited after some months to catch up and make a update. The demo was always meant to be a proof of concept thus it's purpose being a starting ground for me to form a even better team, and pop off harder.

At the time, we still had some musicians from the demo remaking their songs, but as the time went on I've developed my characters planned for the mod and thus changing visions on what I wanted the mod to sound like.
As the creator I greatly value how you experience a media audibly, nothing's memorable if you don't make it be, so I was 100% sure the cast of musicians and composers had to change in favor of the mod being slightly remarkable to the community.

The plan was set: I wanted to completely revamp "Ghost", putting her in a new canvas and with a fresh coat of paint, expanding the story and dividing her old personality into two characters, while elaborating on that as time went on.
Which means that this update will feature a completely new character.

Basically HEV took over the music department for a while, which is very funny in hindsight (but he's really a life savior woosh...) Regardless, the music was reworked to the ground.
Currently we have 90%-ish of the mod covered (Jeez!!): Every song from "Ghost" week is finished; The new character's songs are also practically done, as well as extra songs.
Unfortunately the idea never made it to the demo, but as side gigs the team is producing extra content based on other media, especially games. In this update "Sonic CD", "Yume Nikki" and "Ristar" will be featured in extra songs!
A few fun facts!
The Main Menu track for this update is a independent remix of Translucid (demo ver.) by HEV.
Blue Harmony is one of the pause songs you'll hear through the Story Mode, it recaps every main melody that you can hear in "Ghost" Week.
"Ghost" has only had a few actual redesigns, the rest of the "redesigns" were just a bunch of different haircuts (oopsies...)
Slow, yet slower pace...

Now for the art department... I'm not sure if it's because I objectively work on it and have a direct vision for everything but it has been one of the slowest things in the whole project, probably because I've been still (mostly) working alone on it (which again, in hindsight should've been prevented...)

However it payed off GREATLY. By only tweaking old sprites and my very unreliable rushed attitude of design choice the art direction managed to be just as satisfying as I dreamed off.
2025 was the year that actual major progress caught up (art wise), things we're being finished for "Ghost" and the New Character, but I can confidently say that "Ghost" Week is finished.
At the time I'm writing this there's still alot to do, and the mod's planned to release at the end of summer, so me and the team are focused on moving these last tasks forward!

It's never too late!
When on break, I've focused on hiring new people and working on visualizers for the future release of the new songs, including Instrumentals! (make sure to watch them in the future ok? ok)
Some of the visualizers have already been released as a treat for the public, if you want to check it out before the release here they are!
The hiring part payed off immensely, and the visualizers turned out pretty good! So good in fact that me and the new Co-Director managed to produce a entire TRAILER! (wow)
I have really high hopes for this project and hopefully it will catch some attention when it releases, for sure
