Current progress on the game: I developed a shooting mechanism and breakable tiles, and walking physics. Sprites are deemed to change, feedback is appreciated. I will put a saturation filter on the screen later too. #development #indie

This is concept art for GELATADES and the protagonist, in the different armors and upgrades. Also contains the base what I used to design the character and sort limbs. There is a concept of gelatades there too, and its main attack. All ideas are welcome.
Progress: Built a UI system that allows story animation and context (things are deemed to change) Also changed the tutorial map slightly. Note that the game is ment to be played with high saturation, which is why the colors might look cold.

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.
In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
