I'm working on a website where you can upload "indie" webcomics of a specific subgenre. I'm currently brainstorming for the comic main page (where you can see the chapters, about sections, etc...)
I want to know, on that page, what kind of features would you want as a comic creator on such a site? Also, as a comic reader?
I'm no comic creator/reader but here are some ideas I got:
Title / Description + other stats about comic
Rate the whole comic (or rating chapters only?)
Follow comic / Donate (or links to patreon, ...)
Chapters selection
Characters page (refsheets, character descriptions)
Blog/Post for the creator (for updates?)
Comments for discussions (or maybe specifically for chapters only instead?)
Fan section (for fanatics to post fan-art)
