Found this beautifully preserved horse nettle berry from last year. They're very toxic (there's at least one human fatality on record, and they're also dangerous for livestock), and the whole plant is covered with thorns, but I love the colour so much.

Another climbing floral surface pattern design I made for home décor and fabrics. I was inspired by a patchwork top and also a porcelain dish.

Hope everyone's day has been going as well as possible. Been a busy one for me! Lots of yardwork.

I was spending some time with a friend who is in the hospital after having a stroke. She said:

Friend: "I heard you're an artist." Me: "Yes!" Friend: "You haven't drawn anything for me." Me: ""

Here's a sketch of something I'm working on for her.

Pig.

Hope the weekend goes as well as possible for you all!

More pig.

Don't worry, I went back and drew the eyelashes later with a bigger brush after lining the rest of the piglets.

Here's a fabric pattern (and variations) I made for a challenge with the theme "craft maximalism." I prefer minimalism, so I wasn't very hyped to participate, but managed to make something I liked.
